Scranton Times photographs featured here are from the newspaper’s
archives, which were thrown out many years ago. Fortunately, some
of these tournament photographs were salvaged and sold to a
collector, who has donated the images to The Marble Museum
organization. Scranton and Troop, PA produced several National
Marble Tournament winners and runner-ups in the 1930s – 1950s.
Many of these images are in need of professional restoration. |
